I heard about this book abd writer from anthony bourdain in vietnam. the book is very well written, evoked a lot of emotions, and raised a lot of questions, which i raiised with vietnamese friends.

I recommend this book highly! A very good read.

I sought out this book after being introduced to the author via Anthony Bourdain's CNN travel/food show Parts Unknown when he recently went to Hue in Vietnam. It was worth my effort to find as it was everything I could have hoped.
