Journey, recipient of a Foreword Clarion Five Star Review, is the first book of the coming-of-age trilogy If Where You're Going Isn't Home by prize-winning short story writer and author Max Zimmer.
Shake Tauffler hears a lin.
I was late for work because of this book. I neglected my family because of this book.
It’s not only that I was present back when Max was in high school, nor that I learned recently from his Book-II (If Where You’re Going Isn’t Home: Of the World) of my once having driven past him (Shake) in my red Porsche as he was riding his bicycle before I disappeared down the street ahead of him. He has completed two of three books in the trilogy, the first Journey, with the third pending.
After reading the first book in the trilogy, I couldn't wait for this follow-up book to see how young Shake continues to grow and develop. Now it's hard to wait for the next book.
