Looking for Andrew Mccarthy

I found it difficult to relate to these characters, despite all the great 80s references. It would have been more believable if the characters were 20 and not 30 - really, 30yos just aren't that silly unless they are spoilt little rich kids.

This is a book about girls who grew up feeling like Outsiders, wanting to have their first meal of the day at the Breakfast Club, to look Pretty In Pink and go to the Prom with a brat-pack boy, toast marshmallows on St Elmo's Fire and indulge in a bit of Risky Business while their parents were away. Where is that life we were promised?

Wonderful book, a pure joy to read, could be used as a template for any celebrity...Indeed I'm sure this has already been done by someone since.
