About Genesis P-Orridge

A founding member of the Coum Transmissions performance group in the mid-1970s, then the electronic music group Throbbing Gristle in the late 1970s. From the late 1990s, P-Orridge created work that incorporated installation, collage, and body modification in partnership with Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge (1969-2007). Founding member of Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth, an occult group, itself associated with the musical group Psychic TV. Breyer-P-Orridge now identifies as neither male nor female, but a third gender....
